Well this has been a long time in the making,
i already have my husband and son on gts but i thought now is the time to make a site for my Dad my mum and my baby brother.
Well my Dad was one of 6 he had 4 brothers and a sister all who are still living, he and his brothers and sister where all born in the house where my uncle still lives (his brother), he and our mum started courting before he went in the army, i dont know much about that as he never spoke about it.
When he came out of the army he asked our mum to marry him, they married in 1949 then our eldest brother arrived in 1950 (Richard Jnr), they lived in one room over a pub. Then i came along on corination day 1953 (Thats me Sheila) they moved in to a 3 bedroomed house, then along came our twin brothers in 1956 (Jimmy and Philip), then our sister in 1958 (Barbara), then another sister in 1960 (Lynne), then our youngest twin brothers in 1961 (Malcolm and Gerald).
We had a hard but happy life and always spent time with dad at the weekend as he worked hard as a brick layer all week.
Then in march 1963 when the youngest twins where just 16 months old Gerald got measels and died, my Dad and mum where so upset but we still got thier love even though we did'nt know how much they missed him.
Then on 10th april 1968 the worst thing ever happened We lost our Mum,
Well our world just fell apart, at that time i never thought about how my Dad was feeling i just wanted my mum to come back for me, but that i know now was never going to happen.
We all had to chip together and keep the family together as social services were watching dad to make sure we were not neglected, which we werent,
My dad had to work so i had to see to all the little ones,
Well as time went by we all left home and got married my dad stayed close to us and his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved so much, in august 2001 i moved back home to look after him as his health was failing him, in october he had a massive heart attack and was rushed in to hospital where he passed away late on 28th october, R.I.P.DAD.
WE all miss you so much you were mum, dad, nurse, teacher and friend to us for so many years.
Now at peace with mum and Gerald keep Tommy and Mark safe for me i know you will,
